clip clop clip clop. Emiru quickly ran as fast as a boy could in platform mary janes. He had placed one hand upon his frock to keep it from rising up and his other hand out for balance as he ran. Emiru was on his way to summer class. He had accidentally over slept and instead of a normal person who would go straight to school. Emiru wasted most of his time fixing his hair and doing make up. Now he was already forty minuets late, but he had to look his best for his cute math teacher. Hopefully, his math teacher would be so wowed by emiru's simple beauty and would excuse his tardy. clip clop clip clop

"Oh foo! I'm going to be late!" Emiru cursed a loud. He continue to race down the hall. As he near the door and slowed down to a springy prance. emiru removed his hand from his gown, which allowed his many petticoats to bounce. He peaked in the crack of the door to look into the class. He saw his handsome math teacher preaching away about slope-point form and he also saw the rest of his class sleeping away. Emiru stood up straight and fixed he white dress. Whipped out his compact and gave it brief glance. His make up was flawless. His skin was like pale cream. Emiru worked so hard for many mouths to stay out of the sun to keep the creamy skin. He still had the little painted hearts on the side of his eyes. Eyeliner. Check. Lip-gloss. Check. Hair. Hair?! To Emiru’s horror all that running had made his pigtails uneven. Emiru gasped he was ugly. Ugly. He couldn’t dare show his face in that class. Not with his ugly hair. No his math deserved the best of Emiru and his lop-sided pigtails were far from perfect. How could Emiru even show his face at school with ugly hair? He was a disfigurement. Oh the woe. Oh the humanity. Emiru was ugly. He wanted to cry. He was ugly!

It never crossed his mind once that he was taking his bad hair a little to far or how easy it could be to fix his pigtails. Emiru had convinced himself that he was the ugliest boy in the whole school. His lower lip started to tremble as he tried to fight back the tears. If he cried during school his make up would smear and he’d be even uglier.

“I won’t cry. I won’t cry. I won’t cry,” he quietly chanted to himself in-between sniffles. Emiru formed his two gloved hands into fists as he tried to regain some order over his crying and ugliness. He needed to talk to someone who would understand him and his newly acquired ‘ugly’. “Kyoka-chan! He’d know what to do!” And with that Emiru dashed off in searched of Kyoka.
